When you buy art from an online gallery or a bricks-and-mortar gallery, the price usually includes a commission of 40 to 50 percent and often VAT, which can be in the mid to high double digits depending on the buyer's country. This means that artists often receive half or even less of what you pay.

Of course, this is not a rip-off by the sellers, because galleries, whether virtual or real, have costs and need to be profitable. But there is another way, the direct way. That's why I can offer my work for private sale at fair prices.

Take a look around my website. Perhaps you will find an artwork that will give you as much pleasure as I had creating it, and that will cost you far less than the usual gallery price.
